Mukota Newfoundlands is located just 1 mile outside of Keene on a 22 acre ranch in Swanzey, New Hampshire. We have over 2 acres of fenced play areas for our dogs, a pond for them to swim, and private woods for hiking. They are raised with our horses, barn cat, and Blue & Gold Macaw. At Mukota Newfoundlands we are devoted to producing high quality, sound, healthy puppies for show, working and companionship.

All of our Newfoundlands are x-rayed for hips and elbows, examined by board-certified cardiologists and tested for cystinuria. All of our Newfoundlands are house dogs and puppies are raised in a spare bedroom with a door ajoining the master bedroom. All of our Newfoundlands are sold on a limited registration and a spay/neuter contract. We screen all potential buyers.

We are commited to feeding a raw diet to our canine companions, and we are very active in canine and feline nutrition. We have an exercise and nutrition plan we expect puppy buyers to follow. People interested in feeding a raw diet will get preference for puppy placement.

Mukota Newfoundlands is an active member of both the Newfoundland Dog Club of America and Newfoundland Club of New England.

Both Jess and Deb are professional dog trainers, and members of APDT and ABKA. Jess and Deb own and operate Mukota Kennels, a boarding, training and grooming facility. Jess is also a trained 3d animation artist, web and graphic designer. When Jess isn't busy working her dogs, you can find her in front of her computer building and hosting web sites, mostly related to animals. Deb a graduate of Dog Grooming School of North Jersey is the head groomer at Mukota Kennels.
